the temple is richly painted with very well-preserved murals. More than 1,000 figures are depicted in 258 compositions: "The Virgin with the Christ Child on a throne", the hymn of the Virgin "For you rejoices...", "Assumption of the Virgin", "Introduction of the Virgin into the temple".

the peculiarities of the rendering style allow to distinguish the hand of three masters: two worked in the eastern part of the nave, and the third - in the western. At the beginning of the 18th century, the "Last Judgment" scene was painted on the eastern wall of the vestibule in a traditional iconography of the time.
